It is 54 degrees on Beech Mountain and ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL See Ray's Weather Forecast below (www.raysweather.com):
Expect a mix of clouds and sun with pleasant temperatures. We'll add a few degrees and clouds to yesterday's nice weather. A SW wind will be noticeable. There's trouble to our west in the form of severe storms near and west of the Mississippi River. That storm system in a much weakened form will move across our area Saturday afternoon and evening. There is something for everyone on the twenty miles of designated hiking trails on Beech Mountain, North Carolina, from an easy stroll through the woods with your family, to an eight mile trek through a thousand feet of elevation change.
