• Check-in is 4pm, check-out is 10am. If the rental unit is ready before 4pm, you may be allowed to check-in early. Please call ahead to make arrangements. If you plan to leave prior to your scheduled departure date, please notify our office.
   
• Minimum stay is 2 nights in the off season.
   
• Smoking is not allowed inside the units. If it is determined that smoking occurred inside, there will be an additional cleaning fee charged to cover the cost of smoke removal and any damages incurred.
   
• Pets may be allowed in certain units but this must be arranged through our office. There is an additional non-refundable fee for pets. This must be arranged in advance.
   
• A 50% rental deposit is required at the time of reservation. The balance, including NC sales tax of 6.5% and occupancy tax of 6% is due no later than 30 days prior to check-in date.
   
• A security deposit is required. This deposit is refundable after you depart and housekeeping has determined that the property has been left in a satisfactory condition. The security deposit will be refunded within 45 days.
   
• Cancellation policy: If property is re-rented on the same terms as your lease, we will refund all monies less a $50 processing fee. If the property is not re-rented on the same terms there will be no refund of any monies paid.
   
• Tenants must be over the age of 24 (this does not apply to family groups), and the person signing the contract must be present during the rental period.
   
• Homes are equipped for normal housekeeping. Towels and linens are provided, as well as 1 roll of paper towels, 2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, kitchen garbage bags, dishwasher soap, and salt and pepper. Personal items are not provided.
   
• During winter months, please be prepared to drive in snow and/or ice. Four-wheel drive or chains are recommended as our properties are on secondary roads.
   
• All equipment in the units should be in working order. Please report any problems to our office immediately. Every effort will be made to correct the problem, but we cannot refund your money due to mechanical failures.
